The beauty about summer ending is you can rejoice in the fall nail colors you’ll soon be wearing. Check out the shades you will probably take a liking to come the cooler months:

Birthday Suit Nails. Nude or naked nails were spotted all along the fall Fashion Week runways. From Helmut Lang to Diane von Furstenburg, simplicity sauntered about many catwalks proving that less attracts even more attention.

We love Butter Yellow’s Hen Party for this trend ($15). The nude mixed with an iridescent finish will attract eyes all the time.

Gun Metal. AKA gray, this nouveau take on the shade takes it to a new saturated level of sleek, sexy color for fall. Vera Wang and DKNY have put their stamp of approval on this hue.

We like the shade Freja by Zoya ($9). It’s a smoky, shimmering gunmetal gray with hints of blue, sprinkled with silver. A smoldering, sexy shade it’s the polish equivalent of the smoky eye.

Pretty Jewels. Deep, dark, vidi shades of sapphire, emerald are always Perfect for fall.

If you’re tired of Emerald, as it was a recent Pantone color of the Year in 2013, why not try this Peacock Blue from Yves Saint Laurent ($27) and strut your feathers!

Dark Crimson. Ox Blood is back! We love this shade because it’s super sultry, mixed wiith a dark edge that can take you through all of the colder months. Just ask the models for Kenneth Cole and Rebecca Minkoff.

Try Essie’s new Dressed To Kilt and rock red for $8. Live dangerously. Dress flawlessly. Inspired by espionage and the thrill of the chase, the fall 2014 palette delivers shades so chic it’s almost criminal.

Heavy Metal. Metallic shades are also in again. Gold, silver, bronze, take you pick of which winning medal you want draped around your nails. In our opinion, you gotta go for the gold!

American Apparel has some great metallic shades for only $7 a pop! The formulas are also Cruelty free, DBP, toluene, formaldehyde-free, and made in the USA.

Noir. Black never goes out of style, so bring back your bottle of noir from last year. We still think OPI’s Onyx is a great investment in a super saturated black nail lacquer.

Nail Art. Anything goes with this wild card trend that can be made into your own in any way you see fit! Patterns, designs, 3D art, or texture, do it all!

Which of these shades will you plan to make part of your fall mani and pedi routine? Let us know with a note below!
